Are you searching for simple, affordable, and reliable connectivity solutions?  We invite you to sit down and discuss it over a cup of the finest Italian coffee at Integrated Systems Europe 2011.

Meet the Link team at Booth #  1L123

New at ISE 2011
*Simultaneous Support and Routing of Dante and Ethersound Digital Protols
*Fibre Module
*Remote Headamp control from Yamaha Consoles

Link is pleased to display the DGlink Stage Box System, Yamaha M7CL-48ES Console, MediaMatrix NION® and LAB.GRUPPEN PLM Amplifier operating on the Dante Network.  DGlink is the  the first multi-protocol digital snake system to implement Dante.  Audinate’s Dante solution provides a self-configuring, plug-and-play digital audio network that uses standard Internet Protocols. Dante is a scalable solution that works on both 100Mbits and 1Gigabit Ethernet and coupled with Link’s unique hybrid approach, offers the end user a distribution system that will improve audio quality and simplify setup.

Link was the first to introduce the concept of printed circuit board based modular snakes and stageboxes over two decades ago in Rome. It seems fitting that the same company was also the first to introduce a multi-protocol enabled modular digital snake system. The DGlink digital audio distribution system leverages a long lineage of analog/digital cables, connectors, and circuitry all manufactured by Link to produce a truly modular touring grade distribution system.

DGlink is a digital snake designed for both live and installed applications leveraging the architecture of traditional Stage Boxes. The primary objective is to offer a system that can substitute, or integrate with, traditional audio distribution (analog and digital) utilizing one, or potentially multiple, digital standards over CAT 5, CAT6, or Fibre cables.

Link pleased to promote and support continuing education for engineers and specifiers in the field of Digital Media Networking.  If you haven't already registered, follow the link above to attend an informative seminar filled with practical expert advice that you won't want to miss.

Technologies for digital audio networking first appeared nearly 20 years ago, but only recently have we seen a significant shift away from traditional analogue networking and towards digital networking.

A key driver for this is the convergence of AV and IT, underpinned by the adoption of high performance AV networking technologies, such as Dante, based on the same underlying standards that are used in IT.

Seminar sponsors, Audinate, Lab.Gruppen, Link, MediaMatrix, and Yamaha alongside the PSNE/IE AVNetworks event, are hosting a free comprehensive one-day seminar on Tuesday 1 February at the Holiday Inn Amsterdam examining how digital media networking is being used now, and how it will be deployed in the future.

Confirmed sessions include:

  • Media Networking: That was then, this is now’ with Chris Ware (Audinate)
  • Digital Media Networking with MediaMatrix’ with James Kennedy (Peavey Commercial Audio)
  • Lab.gruppen & Lake products: Large and small scale systems’ with Miguel Hadelich (Lab.gruppen)
  • Networking Yamaha systems with Dante’ with Andy Cooper (Yamaha)
  • Migration to an AVB system’, with Aidan Williams (Audinate).

Also leading consultant Roland Hemming will make a special ‘Introduction to Voice Alarm Systems’ presentation.

When:Tuesday 1 February 0900 to 1700
Where: Holiday Inn Amsterdam
Boelelaan 2, 1083 HJ, Netherlands MAP

***Seating will be on a first come, first served basis, and limited to AV consultants, integrators, designers, sound engineers or by special invitation. Registration will close on 18 Jan***
